Retrospective evaluation of patients followed in Dicle University Faculty of Medicine Child Intensive Care Unit

In intensive care units, support and treatment of the patients are provided by the sufficient top-tier hardware and qualified health personnel against vitally critical cases due to failure of one or more organs or caused by the applied surgical procedures. Increasing the quality of intensive care is very important in terms of reducing child mortality levels due to preventable causes to the level of modern and developed countries. Raising the levels of pediatric intensive care services in terms of quality, quantity and accessibility is important in terms of reaching the targets in our country. In this study, it is aimed to increase the quality of the health service provided with the obtained results, positive contribution of using pediatric intensive care beds more cost efficiently to the need of beds, and to evaluate mortality related factors.
