Privacy in digital piety within the sample of Instagram sharing of conservative women

The society we live with advanced technology and its usage has gone through the process of digitalization. After modernity and postmodernity, digitalization and digital society have flexed its boundaries in the context of space and time imagination. In this context, as well as the boundaries that gain flexibility, the field of privacy has created a new meaning in the digitalizing society. It is based on showing and showing the new meaning that privacy creates in the digital society. Particularly in the use of new social media, which is an element of digitality, the new meaning and appearance gained by privacy has been clearly seen. In today's digitalizing society, as a result of the impact and characteristics of social media, the privacy dimension of privacy has changed. In this respect, the change of privacy has been effective in Instagram, one of the social media fields. It has been concluded that the change that the privacy has undergone in Instagram has been realized through the shares made. Because it is observed that the shares made in Instagram are used as an area that gains meaning and increases the number of likes and followers rather than protecting, hiding and hiding privacy. In Instagram, which is the sampling area of the study, users were conservative religious women in the context of digital religiosity. The new privacy area and its relationship with religion, which were produced in line with the sharing of conservative religious women, were evaluated. In addition to religious meanings, symbols and expressions in the sharing of religious women, the relationship between the appearance of them in the photographs they shared and privacy was tried to be explained with descriptive analysis and phenomenological methods.
