Abstract (EN)

The primary objective of this study is to examine the impact of digital leadership on organizational alienation and to determine whether techno-stress serves as a mediating factor in this relationship. The research sample comprises employees working in Turkiye's civil aviation sector, with data collected through a survey methodology. The study employs the digital leadership scale developed by Zeike et al. (2019), the organizational alienation scale by Mottaz (1981), and a 14-item techno stress scale by Alam (2015). Data analysis includes descriptive statistics, correlation, and both simple and hierarchical regression analyses. Findings reveal positive correlations between digital leadership and organizational alienation, digital leadership and techno-stress, and organizational alienation and techno-stress. Moreover, techno-stress is identified as a mediator in the relationship between digital leadership and organizational alienation. This study aims to fill gaps in the literature by exploring the interplay between digital leadership, organizational alienation, and techno-stress, and to provide managers with insights into mitigating the effects of techno-stress.
