Abstract (EN)

Leaf beetles (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) are one of the most diverse families in the world, and new species are constantly being described. It is extremely important to identify the species in this group, which can be agricultural pests or beneficial organisms depending on the area to be used, and have economic importance because they can be used in biological control. Recently, molecular methods have started to be used in addition to morphological features. In DNA barcoding, which is one of these methods, species determination is made using the cytochrome c oxidase I (COI or COX1) gene sequence found in mitochondrial DNA. In this study, some Chrysomelidae species collected from Dilek Peninsula and Büyük Menderes Delta National Park (DYMP) were identified and barcoded by DNA barcoding methods. Of the 34 species collected from the study area, the COI barcodes of 25 species were extracted, the COI sequences of 3 species could not be obtained properly, and the COI information of 6 species could not be reached.
