Abstract (EN)
Dyslipidemia is associated with many diseases, especially atherosclerosis, diabetes, high blood pressure, abdominal obesity and metabolic syndrome. Dyslipidemia is a lipoprotein metabolism disorder caused by overproduction or lack of lipoproteins. This study was carried out between November 1 and December 31, 2018 in Istanbul, in the Diabetes Hospital in Istanbul, and the outpatient clinic service in the 19-50 age group 60 patients with dyslipidemia (27 male and 33 female) planned to determine their effects. A questionnaire and a 24-hour retrospective form were used to determine the socio-demographic data, nutritional status and health histories of the participants. Anthropometric measurements were taken and biochemical parameters were evaluated. The mean age of the study group was 47.7 ± 19.0 years. As a result of the study, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference between the carbohydrate consumption and carbohydrate consumption of patients with normal BMI and normal dyslipidemia (p <0.05). There was no significant relationship between dyslipidemia and beverage consumption (p> 0.05). At the beginning of the prevention of dyslipidemia is changing the unhealthy lifestyle and environmental factors that cause the disease. One of the factors of unhealthy lifestyle is excessive alcohol consumption. It is important to identify the relationship between beverage and dyslipidemia with similar and further studies. The role of beverages that should and should not be included in medical nutrition therapy should be understood in the prevention of dyslipidemia.
