Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this master thesis titled "The Tradition of Artistic Proses in Classical Ottoman Literature The Letters of Hoca Neş'et" and is to learn about the artistic proses in the Classical Ottoman Literature and to bring to light the letters of Hoca Neş'et. Artistic proses in Turkish literature begins with the Classical Ottoman Literature and ends with it, and it has its own strict rules just like the Classical Ottoman Poetry. The notable works of the artistic prose are those in wich letters are compiled. For this recion when the characteristic of the artistic prose traditon are found out, the characteritics of the letter- writing tradition are stated. To examplity the artitic prose in the Classical Ottoman Literature the letters of Hoca Neş'et written to the important people having important posts are examined. Besides his own status and sosyal relations are considered. This study consists of five main parts; the concept of artistic prose the main characteristic letters in Classical Ottoman Literature of the books written in this genre, the letters of Hoca Neş'et the latin transcriptions of Hoca Neş'et's letters written in the Arabic alphabet, in the final part the researcher's own outlook emal interpiratations on the Classical Ottoman Literature emal the letters of Hoca Neş'et are stated.
