Position of the words begening with /t-/ sound in Divanu Lugati`t-Turk to Uzbek Language

In this, the words beginning with / t-/ sound has been researched in Divanü Lugati?t-Türk and also in Explained Uzbek Language Dictionary and availed common words have been examined according to shape, structure, meaning and qualification. The objective of the study is to determine how much Turkish words reached to 20th century from 11th century Turkish vocabulary through comparing Divanü Lugati?t-Türk and Explained Uzbek Language Dictionary within limitations of the study; so to make contributions the studies about the high sustainability words in Uzbek language and Turkish language vocabulary.At the introduction section, data about objective, cover, method of thesis, work introduction and used materials has been given.The main sections of the study are as follows, means of words that are beginning with /t-/ sound in Divanü Lugati?t-Türk in Explained Uzbek Language Dictionary; beside this it covers the words of which exact means are not found but we determined their root and derivations and non-common words.At the evaluation and consequence section, the words that are beginning with /t-/ sound in Divanü Lugati?t-Türk and etymology dictionary of Sir Gerhard CLAUSON under title of An Etymological Dictionary of Pre-thirteenth Century Turkish (Oxford, 1972) and Mahm?d el-K?şgar? work of Robert DANKOFF - James KELLY, Turkish Dialects Dictionary (D?v?nü Lug?ti?t-Türk) (East Languages and Literature Resources 7, III. volume, 1985) and their situation at Explained Uzbek Language Dictionary has been set forth through numerical data; the relation of examined words with each other has been evaluated.
