Prof. Dr. Suphi URALIn this study, geochemical properties, type and genesis of the Fe ore deposits, located in theDivriği (Sivas)-Hekimhan (Malatya)-Attepe(Adana) and Payas (Hatay) were investigated.The rare and main oxide element analyses were performed from the hematite mineralization.Zr, Ta, Sr, Sc V and rare elements inthe sample of Feke, As, Na, Ca, Bi in the samples ofKarakuz, Sb, Sr, Fe, W, Mo and Sn elements in the samples of Pınargözü werehighed.Positive and negative observed anomalies from Eu and Ce support the hydrothermalorigin of the ore mineralization in the Hekimhan (Malatya) and Attepe (Adana).Negativeanomalies from Ce-Eu and pozitive anomalies from La-Nd support the scarn origin of theore mineralization in the Divriği.Key words: Hematite, REE,Rare elements.
