The study was conducted in 2017 in Diyarbakır. In the spring and summer, field studies were carried out once a week. As a result of the study, 7 species belonging to 3 families belonging to Odonata order were identified. Libellulidae Family; Brachythemis fuscopalliata (Selys), Crocothemis erythraea (Brullé), Orthetrum albistylum (Selys), Orthetrum brunneum (Fonscolombe), Orthetrum coerulescens (Fabricius), Platycnemididae Family; Platycnemis dealbata (Selys in Selys & Hagen) and Coenagrionidae Family; Ischnura elegans (Vander Linden). These species identified in the study are the first records for the Diyarbakır insect fauna.
