Determination of the yield and quality characteristics of grape varieties grown in Diyarbakır province

This study was conducted during 2017 and 2018, the grape varieties grown in the districts (Çermik, Çüngüş, Ergani, Dicle, Eğil, Hani, Hazro, Lice, Kulp, Silvan) of Diyarbakır in order to identify the phenological characteristics and yield and quality characteristics of the grape varieties at the local vineyards Phenological observations about the sproutin duration, full blossom, grain behavior, maturity and harvest dates were recorded in Diyarbakır province and districts. During the study, amaong the yield characteristics of grape of varieties, bunch weight (g), vine stock yield (kg), yield per hectare (kg), and among the qualıty characteristics of grape varities bunc length (cm) bunc width (cm), grain weight (g), grain lenght (mm), grain width (mm), dry matter %, pH, tartaric acid (g/l) were examined. As a result of the study, the most prominent grape varieties in terms of yield values are as follows; Şarabi (7.200 kg/vine stock, 740.20 kg/da), Şire (7.150 kg/vine stock, 737.80 kg/da), Zülfiye dayan (7.100 kg/vine stock, 734.50 kg/da), Tahannebi (7.010 kg/vine stock, 733.60 kğ/da), Karaşire (6.950 kg/vine stock 731.80 kg/da) varieties. In terms of quality, the most prominent grape varieties are as fallows : Erkenisi (TSS 18.35%, pH 4.45, tartaric acid 4.70 g/lt, grain weight 3.30 g), Öküzgözü (TSS 20.95%, pH 3.19, tartaric acid 6.00 g/l, grain weight 3.12 g), Şarabi (TSS 18.00%, pH 4.18, tartaric acid 5.02 g/l, grain weight 2.25 g), Karik (TSS 19.85 %, pH 4.09, tartaric acid 4.70 g/l, grain weight 1.71 g).
