Abstract (EN)
In this research, cotton fabrics were dyed with three different methods using walnut fruit peel, onion peel, and black tea pulp, without mordant with natural mordants (vinegar, yogurt, yeast, iron solution) as pre-mordanting and co-mordanting. Colour measures, wash and friction fastness tests were done for determination of color values of fabrics which were dyed, and the results were compared in terms of used mordant, mordanting, and dyeing method. In this direction, 54 dyeing pieces and 108 resist dyeing pieces were done with mentioned material and methods. Fabric of 54 pieces which were dyed with herbal waste were given with in the form of charts by make colour measurements, wash and friction fastness tests. Resist dyeing applications, on the other hand, were evaluated in the form of charts according to the plant, mordant, and resist dyeing technique visually. Also, various fabric surface designs were made using resist dyeing techniques.
