Structural investigation of modern bannas greenhouse established in Eastern Mediterranean region

In this study, a total of 84 banana producer greenhouse enterprises established in the last ten years in 3 provinces in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (Hatay, Adana and Mersin) and producing indoor bananas were examined. In line with the findings of the survey conducted with banana producers Characteristics of Banana Greenhouse Business Owners General Characteristics of Banana Greenhouse Operations, Structural and Technical Properties of Banana Greenhouses, General Characteristics of the Banana Plant Grown, features of modern banana greenhouses, Comparison with the product grown before the banana and its economic aspects were investigated with one-to-one surveys. The survey results obtained in this study were analyzed using the SPSS program. According to the research findings, it is seen that 94% of the banana greenhouse businesses are family businesses, while the remaining 6% are large businesses. And It has been determined by the survey results that 85.7% of the enterprises are under the age of ten. When the establishment stages of banana greenhouses are examined. It was determined that most of the greenhouses (87.38%) used credit or credit + equity, the remaining (22.62%) businesses were established using equity.
