In this study, it is aimed to improve the Crocus vallicola? s effective vegetative propagation medium by using tissue culture methods. Crocus vallicola is a potential foliage plant with its flower structure or attractive appearance. It has not been considered as an ornamental plant as its production was not achieved yet. Furthermore, natural occurrence of Crocus vallicola is adversely affected by human disturbance. As a result, by exceeding to mass production of this taxon, we aimed to shed light on producers, bring in landscape planning, assure raw material for drug and food industry for providing generation persistence of the taxon. In the direction of this aim, corm explants of Crocus vallicola were cultured in MS medium containing BAP + NAA, BAP + 2,4-D, BAP + IAA, BAP + Kinetin, NAA and 2,4-D dose combinations by using organ culture methodology of tissue culture. After several trials, corm formations were detected in MS medium containing BAP + NAA and BAP + 2,4-D by 13,3 % and 2,5 %. The highest vitality ratio was observed in MS medium with BAP + NAA by 93,3 % and 6,7 % respectively.
