A research on the procurement and logistics functions of industrial enterprises under the impact of fourth industrial revolution

In the 21st century, where the speed of technological development is increasing, businesses need to keep up with this speed in order to survive. This study was carried out in order to determine at what level industrial enterprises dominate the elements of the fourth industrial revolution, to understand the relevance of the effects specified in the literature with the real, and to determine what happened in the adaptation process. A qualitative research method, phenomenology design was used, and semi-structured interviews made face to face over the internet via the ZOOM communication program was evaluated with codes using the MAXQDA program, which was analyzed with content analysis technique. As a result of the evaluations, a total of 10 themes such as which of the elements of the fourth industrial revolution are used the most, reasons for use, places and outputs, adaptation processes, return on investment, covid-19 effects, characteristics and suggestions of the implementing companies have been reached, and each of them has been individually examined.
