Abstract (EN)

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) are the systems that do not contain any human elements, havingsensors and software methods that enable them to adjust their speed, direction, and able to goto the destination from where they are perform the defined tasks. Quadcopter is the most widely used UAV.The fact that maneuverability is good does not require large areas for landing and departure, ease of control and installation and ability to hang in the air are reasons why quadcopter is preferred instead of other unmanned aerial vehicles. In this thesis, quadcopter simulations of different control methods for the control of position and angle values forthe Unmanned Aerial Vehicle are carried out in MATLAB/Simulink environment. For the purpose, quadcopter system was firstly mathematical modeled by Nevton–Euler method. PID, Cascade PID, LQR and Adaptive Control are applied to the system for position angle control of each axis of the system is examined. The results from these controllers are compared.
