The effects of exchange rate on Turkey's import and export: An econotmeric analysis

In this study, the effects of changes in exchange rates on Turkey's imports and exports were investigated. Purpose of the study is to examine the effects of exchange rates on Turkey's imports and exports with econometric methods and to contribute to the literature by determining whether it has a positive, negative or neutral effect. Time series analysis was applied in the method section of the study and all analyzes were carried out with the Eviews 11 program. The findings er reached in study show that the exchange rate has a relationship that is both positive and negatively effective on imports and exports. This study makes important contributions and the analysesto be made with different data sets and models in future studies put exchange rate and with about foreign trade it could offer a more sweeping vision on its relationship .
