Abstract (EN)

VI ABSTRACT The concept of outsourcing was first used in Britain in 1982 in order to decrease the cost of production, save the employment and create the leisure employess for the main activities. The organizations traditionally applied outsourcing by using the resources of exterior firms for different activities and the term outsourcing meant the provision of goods and services for another firm. Thus, the consept is translated to Turkish and established in the literature as the usage of an external resource or benefiting from the services of the other firms, hi this study we presented different definitions of outsourcing in social, financial and economic fields in related to globalization and universalization. In this context, in the First Chapter of this study we provided serious definations of Outsourcing in different respects, and introduced the different types and applications of outsourcing. The Second Chapter analyzes the application process of outsourcing in details and focuses on the preferences of firms, risk analysis, pricing methods and other relevant subject-matters. The Third Chapter concentrates on the economic effects of the outsourcing in micro, macro, and international levels. Chapter four, as the last chapter, was allocated on the confirmation of our hypotesis, argumentations and assumptions concerning with the outsourcing by using suitable econometric models.
