Abstract (EN)
This research aims to determine the comparative advantages of countries that have an important place in the world's rice trade (import and export). For this purpose, RCA, RSCA and TBI indexes were used. The research data were obtained from the TradeMap (2023) database. Asian countries (India, Thailand, Vietnam, Pakistan and Myanmar) are the leaders in rice exports. Some countries in Latin America (Uruguay, Guyana and Paraguay) are also exporters. Italy is a prominent exporter among European countries. The exporter position of the USA has weakened over time. China's position has changed from a net exporter to a net importer. Turkey has a comparative disadvantage according to all three indexes.
