Abstract (EN)
Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of low energy level laser therapy (LLLT) and ozone therapy as a supportive therapy on osseointegration of the implants that applicated in same session with lateral approach sinus floor elevation (LASFE). Method: Resonance frequency analysis measurments of the implants which were implanted in same session with LASFE and application of LLLT or ozone therapy as supportive therapy, were evaluated retrospectively. The stability measurements obtained immediately after implant placement and at the 6 th. month were statistically evaluated. Results: At post operative 6th month, the LLLT group average ISQ value was higher than the other groups. The increase in the ISQ value of implants treated with ozone therapy was higher than the other groups. However, between groups, there was no statistically significant difference in ISQ values obtained at post operative 6th month. Preoperative bone height, the diameter and length of the implant showed a moderate correlation with the ISQ values measured at the end of the recovery period, according to the pearson correlation analysis. After the recovery period, it was determined that statistically there is no difference between the mean ISQ values of women and men. Conclusion: Although there was no statistically significant difference in our study, it is thought that the application of LLLT and ozone therapies on osseointegration of implants placed at the same session with LASFE , further studies with standardized conditions and in larger sample size will contribute to the literature.
