Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the seed yield and plant characteristics of a total of 26 grass pea genotypes with 24 low ODAP contents obtained from ICARDA (International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas) and Ceora and Gürbüz-2001 varieties. The experiment was carried out in Antalya coastal conditions in the 2017-2018 growing season with three replications according to the randomized complete block design. In this study, the number of flowering days (day), plant height (cm), number of branches, pod width (cm), pod length (cm), number of pods per plant, biological yield (kg/da), seed yield (kg/da), thousand grain weight (g) and harvest index (%) properties were investigated. Present results indicate that the number of flowering days, plant height, number of branches, pod width, pod length, number of pods per plant, biological yield, seed yield, thousand grain weight and harvest index ranged from 98 to 113 days, 56.53 to 73.13 cm, 11.66 to 18.33, 12.60 to 21.53, 1.02 to 1.35 cm, 3.26 to 4.00 cm, 327.40 to 691.70 kg/da, 80.69 to 228.41 kg/da, 69.67 to 104.68 g and 21.60% to 82.15%, respectively. The results show that grass pea genotypes with low ODAP content can be successfully grown in Antalya coastal conditions.
