A study on the relationship between emotional labour and job satisfaction

The aim of this study is to invetigate the relationship between emotional labour and job satisfaction. In accordance with this purpose, a survey research was conducted with the participation of 80 staff accountants in the field of financial accounting and consultancy services in the Province of Rize. In this research, the emotional labour scale adapted by Basım and Beğenirbaş (2012) and the Minnesota job satisfaction scale adapted by Söylemezoğlu (2019) as a tool of data collection were used. The collected data were analyzed with regard to factor, correlation and multiple linear regression. Based on the results, it was observed that there was not a meaningful relationship between the surface acting and job satisfaction, but acting sincerely and deep acting had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction.
