ABSTRACT Aim: With this research, Düzce University Research Hospital‟s researchers‟ life standards, the stress they are facing and the issues effecting this stress, and the theraphies that can be held to lower the effects are the aim. Materials and Methods: This survey was applied to 125 of 145 researchers of Düzce University Research and Application Hospital‟s Researchers. At the first section of this survey, the question are formed by the (30) questions related to the researchers‟ socio-demographic features. The second section is formed with (27) questions from The World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL) and (14) questions from Perceived Stress Scale Scoring. This survey includes 71 quesitons in total. Student T Test, Analysis of Variance (uni-directional), Pearson Correlation Analysis, Chi-square Tests were done. SPSS (version 22) was used for the statistical analysis. 0.05 was set for the Statistical Significance Level and p<0.05 was accepted valid as the statistically significant. Results: 56 of the participants (44.8%) are male and 69 of them (55.2%) are female. 56% of the participants stated that their income and expenses are balanced. 21.6% have house, and 76.8% have car. 66.1% of the participants work in internal diseases, 29.9% works as surgical and 4.0% for the basic departments. 72.8% of the participants are keeping watch and average keeping watch is 7.8±2.6. Quality of the life standards validity have the values of 0.60-0.65. Perceived stress level scale's parameter was found as 0.80. It was confirmed that life quality area points were positively correlated and it was negatively correlated with the stress points (P<0.001). Being asked for their life quality; 80% of the participants stated their life quality as low, %20 of them stated as good. Being asked how they feel about their health, %38.21 of the participants stated that they are glad and 61.8% of them stated iv as they are not glad. After being asked how they feel about their choice of profession, the rate of women who think they did wrong or some wrong was found high. Married ones social area points are higher than the singles. physical, social and environmental area points of the participant not keeping watch was found high. Who tells their income is more than their expenses are having higher points in social, phycical and environmental areas. Conclusion: The rate of those who think that researchers are wrong and sometimes wrong choices about the choice of profession is found high in women. The social domain score of those who are married is higher than that of the bachelors. The physical, social, and environmental domain scores of the non-guarded individuals are high. Better than physical, social, environmental domain scores of income earners
