Abstract (EN)

In this study, the business plan and marketing strategies of the cosmetics e-commerce platform Elegance Hub were analyzed under the title of "E-Commerce Business Business Plan and Success in Being Preferred by Consumers: A Study on Online Consumers", the business plan and marketing strategies of the cosmetics e-commerce platform Elegance Hub were analyzed. The aim of the research is to examine how consumer behavior is shaped according to demographic characteristics and to reveal the effects of these findings on the strategic planning of the business. The study focuses on identifying strategies that Elegance Hub can use to reach its target audience and gain competitive advantage in the market. The study analyzed the effects of demographic variables such as gender, age, marital status, education level and income on consumer decision-making processes and evaluated how these findings can be integrated into business planning processes. The results obtained reveal the differentiated behaviors of consumers according to these demographic factors and provide important clues on how marketing strategies for the target audience of the firm can be optimized in the light of these findings. In the study, it was found that male consumers scored higher on quality and brand orientation than female consumers, while women were more likely to shop impulsively and experience information confusion. When the age factor is analyzed, it is seen that younger consumers are more open to following trends and innovations, while older age groups prioritize quality and reliability. Factors such as education level and income were also found to play a decisive role in consumer preferences.
