Abstract (EN)
The aim of the study is to address the course of the notion ''tawakkul'' by emphasizing on Abû Tâlib al Makkî's work called Qût Al-Qulûb. Since sufism is a spiritual journey and we will discuss the course of resignation, we started our thesis addressing seyr, the basics of seyr u sülük (the inner journey), nafs and the stages of nafs. In the second part of our thesis, we tried to shed light on the meanings ascribed to tawakkul in the Quran, hadiths and kalam by making use of classics of Sufism and Ishari Tasfir (interpretation) and Kalam Tasfir. In the third part of our thesis, we tried to emphasize the maqams in Qut Al-Qulûb which forms the backbone of the study and the relationship of tawakkul discussed mainly even if it has not been stated independently. In the last part of our thesis, we referred to tavfiz (delegation), sika and surrender which are accepted as the stages of tawakkul and we finalized our thesis by addressing the phases of tawakkul.
