This study aims to emphasize the significance of manuscript works in terms of language, culture, and literary history and to contribute to the field of Turkology. Manuscript works provide valuable information about linguistic data, literary taste, and cultural interactions transmitted from the past to the present. In this context, especially through transcription, linguistic analysis, and index studies, the inclusion of these works in contemporary research enriches Turkish language and literature studies significantly. Accordingly, this study examines Ebvâbü'l-Cinân, a manuscript written in Chagatai Turkish in the historical city of Yarkent in 1709 and registered in the Turkish-Tatar Manuscripts section of the Oriental Manuscripts Collection at Kazan University, Tatarstan. The manuscript has been transcribed and converted from Arabic script into the Latin alphabet. Additionally, its linguistic features have been analyzed in terms of orthography, phonetics, and morphology, and an index study has been conducted to reveal the vocabulary of the text. The analysis of the manuscript in terms of writing, phonetic, and morphological aspects contributes to understanding the linguistic structure of the period. The Latinization and transcription of the text aim to make it scientifically accessible, providing a valuable resource for historical Turkish language studies and Chagatai Turkish research.
