Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the effect of the SAMR model, enriched with Web 2.0 tools used in the Science course, on the academic achievement and digital literacy level of the "Force and Energy" unit. The SAMR model, Dr. It emerged as a result of the work of Ruben Puentedura and has been adopted by many technology brands. This model is a model that enables the effective use of technology by enriching the learning environment. In this study, in line with the lesson plans prepared in accordance with the curriculum and the SAMR model, a learning environment in which Web 2.0 tools were used was created and applications were made. The research is a quantitative study and a quasi-experimental design with a pretest posttest control group was used. The study group of the research consists of a total of 52 students, 25 of whom are in the control group and 27 from the experimental group, from the 7th class students in a public school located in Ferizli district of Sakarya province in the 2021-2022 academic year. The research was carried out within the scope of the "Force and Energy" unit, which is the third unit of the 7th grade science course, and lasted for a total of five weeks. Academic achievement test and digital literacy scale were used as data collection tools in the study. The analysis of the data in the study was analyzed by unrelated sample t-test (independent groups t-test) and related-sample test (dependent-groups t-test). Data analysis SPSS 24.0 statistical package program was used in the research. Although there was an increase in the academic achievement of the students in the experimental group in the context of the applied SAMR model, this increase did not make a statistically significant difference. It has been observed that there is a statistically significant difference in the results of students' digital literacy skills in line with the plan prepared with the Web 2.0 applications applied to the course content during the science course teaching process.
