Effectiveness of an educational program on elementary school teachers' knowledge about school phobia among pupils in Baghdad city

School phobia is a chronic emotional problem that, if left untreated, can have both short and long-term negative consequences such as poor academic performance, disagreements with parents, and an increased risk of developing adult psychological problems. The main objectives of this study are to assess the need for knowledge of elementary school teachers about school phobia and to build an educational program for elementary school teachers' knowledge about school phobia. In addition to identify the relationship between the elementary school teacher's knowledge and some demographic variables. The study used a descriptive cross-sectional design and was carried out among 100 elementary school teachers in five elementary schools in Baghdad city from 25 November 2021 to 1 June 2022. The findings of this study, regarding the subjects studied (Socio-demographic Data), show that the studied groups recorded no significant differences at P>0.05. The results of the data analysis show that the study group's teachers' knowledge improves as a result of the education program's implementation. The current study concluded that, regarding the subjects studied (Socio-demographic Data), results show that studied groups recorded no significant differences at P>0.05.
