Özet (EN)

Nowadays, The Aquaculture sector is growing day by day, import and export of aquaculture is increasing accordingly. Vaccination practices strengthen the immune system against bacterial diseases (Vibrio spp. and their types)that are common in sea bass fish, allowing fish to be grown more accurately and healthily with less loss. In this context, the use of vaccines in the Aegean Region, both large and small, has become widespread. Due to the limited number of firms dealing with vaccination, the general consensus in the business has come to the conclusion that the vaccine prices, the inconvenience caused by the expensive vaccination, and the fact that small family businesses can not make the vaccination application based on material. Findings obtained from the evaluation study are brought together in the conclusion section to discuss the prevalence of vaccine use in the Aegean region and the impact of vaccination on fish and to explain to what extent the vaccine industry in Turkey will be possible in the future and how vaccination applications are necessary for aquaculture.
