Workshops of the educational institution risk assessment

Occupational health and safety are improving day by day all over the world and in our country. The purpose of the applications is to provide a healthy and safe working environment for employees, away from work accidents and occupational diseases. As a result of not doing / not having risk assessment, which is the first stage in proactive methods today, Occupational accidents and occupational diseases occur, and employees become injured or lose their lives. Educational institutions and especially classrooms are faced with ergonomic, physical, chemical, fire and biological risks.With the adoption of the "Occupational Health and Safety Law" in 2012, "Risk Assessment" has become a legal obligation in order to implement occupational health and safety in workplaces. The aim of this study is to reduce the risk of disability and work accidents with control steps by reducing the risks to acceptable levels with the risk analysis. The study was carried out in the form of checking the classrooms and certain workshops of the educational institution under the supervision of the responsible teacher, determining and prioritizing the dangers and risks and the measures to be taken, and making recommendations for taking the necessary corrective and preventive measures.
