Analyse zur entwicklung der deutschdidaktischen kurzfilmmaterialien im hinblick auf die sprache, landeskunde und medienkompetenz und die bestimmung des verwendungsanteils der filmmaterialien seitens der lehrer

This study is an empirical cross-sectional study, which is discussed with the quantitative research method. One survey and seven analytical frameworks have been used as survey instrument for the data collection. The study group, who took part in the survey in 2015–2016 academic year, was made up of 20 actively working German language teachers. The gained data has been analysed within the digital platform, in terms of the usage of videos in schools and the teachers' opinions concerning the application of visual-auditory materials in German language lessons. Correlatively the difference between private schools and public schools has been studied. The analysis of the quantitative data has been done through Microsoft Excel 2013 and SPSS program. The obtained data acquired from the survey has been given in with numbers and percentage in tables and graphics. The educational short German videos, offered as an extra resource by the publishing houses, that provide German as a foreign language material, have been studied from the points of language level, the language content of each unit, country information and media aesthetics including elements with the aid of the analytical frameworks. The analysis of the course book is submitted under favour of analytical frameworks. The general purpose of this study was to list the various chosen film materials and to research the usage probability of these audio-visual medias by the teachers. On the other side the usege of educational German short films by the teachers in their German lessons in Bursa is to be studied. Further to that, solution recommendations are going to be put forward to guide the actively working and future teachers; thus, to ease the use of films. According to the findings; it was observed that all schools provide different but sufficient digital platforms to submit film materials. It was also determined that, with different usage rates, audio- visual extra resources were used but has not been a part of the daily German courses yet. Besides that an interest concerning the film usage by teachers was detected.
