Abstract (EN)

Lexicography; show the vocabulary, culture and social life of a language. The community of political and commercial activities interacted with states, differ-ent religions, languages and races. These interactions made it necessary to learn a new language. Turks; they felt the need to write translation works as a result of their nomadic life, their abandonment of their regions due to political pressure, their dominance in new places due to the wars they had fought and the influence of some religions. After the Turks accepted Islam, they interacted with the Arabs and Persians, and translated the works and dictionaries written in Arabic and Persian into Turkish. The Turkish language, which was under the influence of Arabic and Persian, placed the words taken from these languages after the 11th century and formed a synthesis by bringing Turkish additions to some words within the frame-work of the Turkish language grammar. el-Bâbûs, the Arabic-Turkish dictionary written by Merkezzâde Ahmed Efendi in the Old Anatolian Turkish period, is the most voluminous dictionary of the period around these influences. el-Bâbûs, which is the most voluminous dictionary of its period, was translated into Turkish and is a work written in this period. In our study, 113 / a-144 / b and 277 / b-312 / b sections of el-Bâbûs were transcribed by considering the sound and shape characteristics of the Old Anatolian Turkish period.
