Abstract (EN)

Every nation has metaphors and idioms in its language. Over time, these give different meanings to the language and become a part of that language. Almost every nation has educational and guiding elements in its language. Topics that become part of the vocabulary reflect the customs and traditions of the past. Because they carry a national identity and are used in consideration of the differences of that nation. Therefore, they often express the culture and way of life of a particular nation. As in every nation, there are many similes and idioms in Arabic. Since Arabic is a language of eloquence and eloquence, parables and idioms have the ability to summarize long speeches and have become widely used in daily life. There are even common metaphors between Arabic and Turkish. Turks recognized Arabic proverbs through their Turkish translations. Because of this importance, proverbs have an important place in academic studies in the field of Arabic language, rhetoric and literature. Of course, this subject, which is concentrated at the level of theses and articles, has reached an important level. However, despite this, studies in Turkey are extremely limited. As a matter of fact, studies on Abū al-Fazl al-Maydānī's Majma al-amsāl, which comes to mind first in the field of mesel, are almost non-existent.
