Özet (EN)
The names of places bearing deep traces of social and cultural life are actually ancient population registers. The microtoponim, which is a subdivision of the toponim, comes out as a science field that investigates the meaning, origin, and grammar of place names in the fountain, mountain, stream, hill, plateaus etc. The importance of microtoponim researches, in the name of giving a meaning to the places in which we live, the places we had seen and forgat and the places we have never seen before and in the name of putting forward to the richness of a nation's language, is huge. In this study, which is a microtoponim study, 458 place names were examined. In our study, while microtoponims found around fountains, mountains, streams, districts, towns, villages, hills, plateaus were being studied in terms of species and origin, grammatical structure and lexical semantic conditions of microtoponims were also tried to be prepared. At the end of the work, "Palu Place Names Dictionary" was added in one section. Keywords: Microtoponim, Microtoponim Classification, Palu County
