Abstract (EN)
In this study, the surface properties of PMMA/Chitosan nanofibers containing MXene materials obtained by the electrospinning method were investigated, and the potential use of these nanofibers in biomedical applications as biosensors was evaluated. Nanofibers produced using different PMMA/Chitosan/MXene concentrations were examined. The prepared PMMA/Chitosan/MXene solutions were poured into petri dishes and dried. The average fiber diameters of the nanofibers were determined using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). According to the obtained results, the surface properties of the nanofibers varied according to their diameters. Viscosity and electrical conductivity tests were performed on the produced contact lenses. Protective effects against harmful organisms, cell tests, and mechanical tests were conducted to maintain the durability of the contact lenses. In the field of bioelectronics, MXene materials play a significant role in the development of nerve interfaces and biosensors by exhibiting remarkable conductivity and compatibility with biological systems. MXenes also play a critical role in tissue engineering; the unique combination of mechanical durability and biocompatibility allows for the creation of scaffold materials that promote cell adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation, enabling advancements in regenerative medicine. In wearable technology, MXenes contribute to flexible and conductive materials, enabling the integration of advanced components into wearable devices. The first part of this study addresses the design and variety of wearable contact lenses. The second part examines contact lens calcifications, the biomaterials used in contact lenses, and their applications. The third part discusses biosensor applications. The fourth and fifth parts provide extensive information and discussions on the technological marketing and future of contact lenses. In conclusion, in the study of contact lens production using the electrospinning method with MXene material evaluates the potential use of nanofiber surface properties and diameters in biosensors and other biomedical applications, contributing to technological innovations in this field.
