Electronic commerce and search about sme's which related to metalic objects mechanical equipment and eleckronical tools industry in Eskişehir organizational industry

Ill ABSTRACT Producing, using and development of presenting knowledge carries information to electronic environment. Since computers are connected to each other by certain protocols, information can go around functionally. Intranets, which make connections between units of business, can be turned into extranets by adding additional customers or other firms. Hence, Internet occurred by potantional users who have connections between each other via computers. Nowadays firms have no geographic borders and customers are recognized as the whole world. Production and consumption are planned for the world scale and they have to act in competitive market environment. Under these circumstances firms use technological opportunities and by using electronic commerce they can reach customers at any time. For SME's e-commerce is there to reach for the new markets and they have very important opportunities to rival with their opponents. With electronic commerce SME's can enter lots of markets without being have to invest highly and spend more, and in these markets they have the chance to provide low-cast, high quality products. This study consists of three chapters in the first chapter the meaning of electronic commerce and its dimensions will be explained. In the second chapter SME's and usage of electronic commerce as a way of marketing tool at SME's will be discussed. Lastly in the third chapter a questionnaire about SME's, which are related to metalic objects, mechanical equipment and electronical tools industry, situated at Eskişehir organizational industry will be placed.
