Enderûnlu Fâzıl – Zenân-nâme (Edition critique)

Enderûnlu Fâzıl is one of the first poets that comes to mind when localization is mentioned in our literature. Especially in his masnavis, Fâzıl reflected the inner and outer reality very well. This study is based on the preparation of the critical text of Enderûnlu Fâzıl's masnavi called Zenân-nâme. Some studies have been done on Zenân-name before. However, most of the studies have not gone beyond translating certain parts of the work piece by piece. The first scientific study on the work was done by Nebiye Öztürk in 2002. However, this study also contains some shortcomings. These shortcomings have prevented the full understanding of the work. For this reason, it has become a necessity to deal with the work again in more detail and meticulously. While preparing the critical text of the Zenân-nâme, firstly, the determination of the copies of the work was studied and 30 copies of the Zenân-nâme were obtained. Then, the identified copies were evaluated according to certain criteria. As a result of the evaluations, the copies that should be in the critical text were determined. Afterwards, the critical text was established with 8 selected copies. Each couplet in the established text was carefully emphasized and the couplets were checked by meter control.
