Fiqh formations in Andalusia except the Malikî Sect

Abstract (EN)

Geography of Andalusia has a multifaceted influences on social, political, scientific and cultural aspect in the Islamic civilization. The Maliki sect in this geography, where Muslims have lived for nearly eight centuries, but this stituation reality doesn't mean that any other sect didn't emerge in this region. The geography of Andalusia has met various jurisprudence sects such as Awzaî, Zahirî, Shafiî, Hanafî and Hanbalî sects except the Malikî sectthrough through journeys (Hajj) and science, trade and trips between Andalusia and Islamic World in the East. Also, followers of these sects reached the position of Judge (Qadi) and took part in Tabakat books as important people. However, these sects couldn't find an opportunity to spread as much as the Malikî Sect because of that these sects were devoid of several conditions for spread. This study has an importance about Andalusia researches to demonstrate different jurisprudential formations of İslamic Law Heritage in Andalusia.
