Abstract (EN)

This dissertation investigates the technological developments that are called the Industry 4.0 and its basic components.Before coming to this stage, the industrial revolutions experienced in the historical process, other technological developments and the effects of it on the working life are explained.The theory of labor process constitutes the analytical framework of these explanations.Based on a literature review, the main aim of this study is to discuss howthe technological improvements, which are described as the Industrial Revolution, such as robotization, driverless vehicles and three-dimensional printers would transformlabour relations and labour process.It can be predicted that mentioned technological developments will have the devastating results in terms of certain sectors in the labour market. On the one hand it is clear that Industry 4.0 seems to destroy many kind of jobs, but on the other hand it will lead to some new ones. Another crucial result of new technologies in terms of workers will be new control and surveillance methods in labour process. Keywords: Industry 4.0, Robotization, LabourProcess, LabourRelations.
