Evaluation of the affective development of disabled individuals within the context of religious education with opinions of teachers and their parents (Hakkari province example)

In our research, we evaluated the impact of affective development on the behavior of individuals with disabilities, based on the views of teachers and parents. We also examined the affective development of individuals with disabilities in terms of Religious Education. Three rehabilitation centers in Hakkari province were selected as a sample for the study. Data were collected from 30 teachers and 28 parents of individuals with disabilities receiving education at these centers using a pre-prepared questionnaire. Expert opinions were obtained by preparing 21 Likert-type questions for teachers and 15 for parents. SSPS and Excel were used to statistically analyze these data. To ensure the reliability and validity of the survey form, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was calculated as 0.77 for the teacher participant survey form survey form. Factor analysis also yielded a Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin Measure of Sampling Adequacy (KMO) value of 0.61 demonstrating that the test is valid and reliable. In light of the data obtained from the research, it becomes clear that individuals with disabilities who are compliant with social rules, able to actively interact in human-societal relations, and able to embrace and respect social values need to receive emotional support to achieve these achievements.
