Özet (EN)
The aim of the present study was to examine associations between temperamental characteristics, parental acceptenace and rejection and distruptive behaviors in adolescents and moderator roles of negative reactivity which is dimension of difficult temperament on parental acceptance-rejection and distruptive behaviors. This study consisted of 400 high schoo stıdents (222 males, 178 females) from nine different high schools in Aydın. In addition, mothers of 400 students' mother participated in this study. Strength and Difficulties Questionnare and Parental Acceptance and Rejection Questionnare was administered to the students, School Age Temperament Inventory was filled by mothers. The results of this study showed that there were associations and parental acceptance and rejection between distruptive behaviors but not not in terms of gender. To investigate the moderator roles of negative reactivity on parental aceeptance-rejection and distruptive behaviors, hierarchical regression analysis was used. Acording to results, moderator roles of negative reactivity was found on parental recection and distruptive behaviors but not for parental acceptance. These finding were discussed in the light of the differential susceptibility hypothesis. Also, limitations of this study and suggestions for future researches were mentioned.
