Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of our research is to understand the effects of socio-cultural framework as well as to understand the attitudes and behaviors of adolescents towards the belief of deism. In the introduction part of the research, we gave information about its subject, purpose, importance, hypotheses, scope and limitations, universe and sample, method and analysis techniques. In the first part, it is given information about the definitions of religion and religion as a conceptual framework, the definitions of deism, the general characteristics of the adolescent definition and time intervals and finally the generations, the time intervals and general characteristics of the generations. In the second and third part, following the descriptive information about the distribution of the research sample according to independent variables, gender, age, educational status, family income of the participants, how they define themselves in religious terms (religious, atheist, etc.), and who obtained the existing religious knowledge, besides the factual characteristics such as father's profession, reading the Koran literally from beginning to end, and finally writing the most recent religious book type they read, we examined the differences in cognitive, causes and outcome dimensions of adolescents. The study was conducted with 400 adolescents selected from Çankaya district in 2019. The data which was developed for the first time by means of the attitude and behavior scale of faith in daily life of young people were examined through SPSS program. In the developed scale, three basic sub-dimensions were able to obtain valid scores to measure the perception of young people about deism. They measured differences by comparing factual identity in the context of youth's level of knowledge about deism, the reasons that pushed deism, and the results faced by young people with high levels of deism. As a result, it was seen that adolescents had a cognitive awareness against deism, and there were no differences in the causes and outcome dimensions. However, it is seen that deism first emphasizes the reaction to the family, the interaction and freedom among peers, the ambiguity of the adolescents in these periods, and the acceptance of deism increases as the education and income level increases, as well as deism has reached a certain rate.
