A research on the implementation of space syntaxmethod in accessibility studies in the antalya city center

Accessibility is an expression of the space and the quality of the city. The obstacles to accessibility are not obstacles to the problem they are experiencing, but obstruction. And the social, cultural and physical factors that make it necessary to be regulated. This thesis primarily deals with; aimed to show that accessibility studies that should not be neglected can be speeded up by the method of spatial layout. Prior to the point solutions, the advantages of the method of locating were utilized in determining the areas where the pedestrian potential is high. In this context, it is necessary to create an environment regulation that disabled people who use the city center of Antalya which we have examined are not used by the individuals to which they are dependent but they can use them easily. The work started in this presentation; written texts such as books, thesis, articles and papers related to the field of study and pronunciation, and internet sites on the disabled were searched. In Kepez, Muratpaşa and Konyaaltı districts, it is beneficial to adapt to the study areas later. It has been observed at the level of streets and streets which are high in integration with the Arc-GIS program. Criteria score points to winners. Scores from 0-11 are red, 12-22 are orange, 23-33 are yellow. Near the observations; 31 acnes, 2 red, 17 orange and 12 yellow. The research recommendation has brought new suggestions in negative directions. It is stated that the total scores of the areas where the suggestions are applied will increase and the entertainment level will increase.
