Abstract (EN)
Turkish culture permeates a wide cultural geography that progresses from the Turkestan region, which is called Interior Asia, to the Anatolian and European cultural areas. The Turkish socio-cultural life, which started to be formed with shamanism and the cult of nature, has managed to reach today by blending various cultures, civilizations and religions. Turkish culture shaped by the steppe culture in Inner Asia; As a result of the migration movements of the Turks towards the West, they met the temperate climate zone and the sea in Front Asia and synthesized the harsh cultural basin with the Mediterranean culture and Islam. Due to the wide influence of Turkish culture, our study was prepared on the basis of Turkish women in the Turkestan region, which was accepted as Inner Asia in ancient times before the Turks met Islam. Subsequently, in order to present the continuity of Turkish women's clothing to attention, the study subject of the Turkish states that met Islam in Central Asia and the Seljuks, which is the engine of the Turkish-Islam synthesis, were discussed. The Turkish states with the dominant cultural structure were classified in accordance with in the study the chronological order in the political structuring. From the early ages to the 12th century, which is called the primitive period, the botanical knowledge of the Turks, the techniques and materials in the art of weaving were supported by archaeological findings, which they had a good knowledge and skill exclusively for the age. The changes and transformations of women's clothing in Turkish cultural history; examined archaeological finds, manuscripts, inscriptions and in the light of verbal data, depending on the language argument. In the study, the basis of women's clothing was formed with the cultural codes in the words and phrases in the basic communication tool language argument. Investigations on Turkish women's clothing culture were completed through our words and phrases in Dîvânu Lugâti't-Türk, Old Uygur Turkish and Scanning Dictionary. Turkish women's clothing products are a rare example that succeeded in bringing the socio-cultural descriptions, cultural codes and values of the society to today. Our study aims to prove that Turkish women's clothing is a concrete material that includes cultural values and provides intergenerational transmission rather than basic requirements such as covering and protection from external influences.
