Özet (EN)

Coronary artery disease is one of the major factors of mortality and morbidity in all around the world including developed countries. Other than conventional well known risk factors, genetic factors constitute an important area of study for coronery artery disease. Impact of genetic factors on coronary artery disease especially for younger ages has a special importance. In this study, Real Time PCR melting curve analysis method was applied on PAI-1 4G/5G and Factor XIII Val34Leu polymorphisms to 101 patients with early coronary artery disease and 100 people who have not suffer from coronary artery disease under 45 years age. 5G/5G genotype control group were statistically significant for PAI-1 which means PAI-1 5G/5G genotype could be a protective factor for early coronary artery disease. 4G/5G genotype was also statistically valuable betweeen two groups. On the other hand any relationship has not been observed considering 4G/4G genotype with early coronary disease. Likewise Factor XIII Val34Leu changes were similar in patient and control groups. Hence in this study, we couldn't find an evidence for PAI-1 and Factor XIII Val34Leu for playing a role on early coronary artery disease
