Özet (EN)
In this study, Ermenek Dam and HEPP are introduced and the method of Presiplitting Controlled Detonation applied at between the elevation of +700 m and 480 m. Ermenek Dam is located in the Ermenek county in the Karaman province. The location of the dam is in the southeastern part of the county and 15 kms away from Ermenek. Height from the thalweg will be 210 m, height from the basis will be 230 m and Reservoir area will be 60,74 km2 . It will hold 4,5 billion m3 of water. Ermenek Dam is being built upon a narrow valley. The place where the body will be built has been sized by means of The Method of Controlled Detonation. The most suitable pattern for the formation in this place were determined doing detonations in the right and left braes. Vibrations were kept below 30 mm/sec. With the controlled detonations in the right and left braes, 284940 m3 area has been excavated. 120904 kgs of explosives have been used for this excavation and specific charge has been calculated as 0,424 kg/m3.
