Eser-i Şevket: Review- text- index [572p.-672p.]

Eser-i Şevket, one of the first dictionaries written in Ottoman field, was written by Es-Seyyid Mehmed Şevket Efendi. Although the work has an important vocabulary for Turkish, it is rich in Arabic and Persian words. The study includes of 100 pages containing the letters kâf- mı̇̄m (572- 672). At the beginning of the study, some information is given about the dictionaries and Şevket Efendi, the principles that the author follows in creating the study and the methods we have applied in our transcription writing are explained. The transcriptional text was then included and then the index-dictionary of the words in the text was prepared to make the text more understandable.
