Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT With beginning of baking soil Ceramic that is great importance to compansate daily needs in human life conserved both its aspect of art and its functionality, to the present. Especially in Anatolia ceramic had become very specific situation. Besides its daily using it had been used as complementary element in architecture and it formed lots of successful examples. Very special examples of ceramics had remained from Frigs, Lidya, Hitit, Hacılar and Çatalhöyük in Anatolia. In Seljuk-Ottoman era, art of ceramics reached its peak. The cultural wealth has influenced today's artists deeply and become a source of inspiration in their works. This thesis includes ceramic panel that is applied on a architecural site. It is organised as two sections; in the first section the place of ceramic panel is examined in the Anatolian architecture. In the second section it is offered applying phases of ceramic panel in a comtemporary architectural site, benefiting old Anatolian cultures.
