Analysis of verbs in the first interlined Qur'an translation of the Ancient Anatolian Turkish period

In this study, the volitional analysis of the verbs in the "First Interlinear Translation of the Qur'an Belonging to the Old Anatolian Turkish Period", which was transferred to Turkey Turkish by Murat Küçük. Some types of words have the power of will in themselves, but the type of words that have the power to govern above the others are verbs. Verbs are the types of words that have the power to manage both the nouns, adjectives and prepositions, which have the power to manage the case suffixed complements as well as the other governing power. In our study, we tried to determine the volitional frameworks by considering the volitional potentials of verbs. In Turkish, there are polysemous verbs as well as univocal verbs. Monosyndic verbs can create a volitional frame, while polysemous verbs can create multiple volitional frames. Polysemy verbs can take on different numbers and semantic roles at different volition levels. In our study, we tried to determine the logical and syntactic noun levels of the verbs in the translated work, which is the subject of our study. We did not include the semantic demand level in our review The meanings of the verbs in the translation named "The First Interlinear Qur'an Translation of the Old Anatolian Turkish Period" are taken from the same work. In cases where the semantic variants of the verbs in the translation were insufficient, the meanings of the verbs were determined by using the "Scanning Dictionary" prepared by Cem Dilçin and the "Eastern and Western Turkish Qur'an Translation Dictionary" prepared by Suat Ünlü. While analyzing the verbs in the translation, the method developed by Nuh Doğan in her doctoral thesis named "Meaning Changes in Turkey Turkish Verbs" was used. When we sort the verbs in the translation of the Qur'an according to the logical volition level, it is seen that the most used verbs are the two-voluntary verbs, the second voluntary verbs and the third voluntary verbs. At the logical level of the examined 354 verbs, they are classified as one volitional verbs, two volitional verbs and three volitional verbs. At the syntactic volitional level, it has been determined that the verbs exhibit 15 syntactic volitional structures. The frequency of use of each of the 15 syntactic claim structures that emerge at the syntactic claim level varies. The syntactic demand structures exhibited by the verbs are listed according to their frequency of use.
