Özet (EN)
Old Anatolian Turkish is a written language that was established and developed in Anatolia between the 13th-15th centuries. Thanks to its characteristic features, it is important in terms of showing the analysis of some structures and their development in the historical process. Although there are many grammatical studies in Old Anatolian Turkish, the studies that include semantic/conceptual evaluations are limited. In this study, the concept of causality on Old Anatolian Turkish texts was examined based on 12 criteria. Causality has been evaluated and subdivided in terms of form, point of view, affirmation-negation, reality, effect, distance, process, multiplicity, direction, reduction, clarity, and syntax. Examples of causality are taken from 26 works that include topics such as daily knowledge, religious knowledge, medicine, and law belonging to the Old Anatolian Turkish period, which is a historical period of Turkish, and sentences exemplifying the determined criteria are included. The study consists of five parts: introduction, theoretical explanations, method, findings, conclusion, and evaluation. In the introduction, the problems that constitute the starting point of the study, its reason, purpose and importance are explained. The limitations of the study were determined and the accepted assumptions were emphasized. In addition, definitions of some terms used in the study are given. In the theoretical explanations section, first of all, the terms of concept, concept science, concept field are explained; then, the emergence of the concepts of cause and causality and how these concepts correspond in language are examined. Information sources and variables in causality are explained. In addition, it has been tried to explain the relations of purpose, condition, causativeness, situation, question, aspect / attitude, and modality, which are thought to be related to causality. In the method section, information is given about the universe and sample of the research. The method by which the examples given in the text were selected, how the selected examples were shown formally, the criteria by which the examples were evaluated, and the source of the criteria were explained. The function of the forms used in the study, the type of analysis made, that marked causality is included in the study and the way adopted in the transfer to today's Turkish are conveyed. In the fourth part of the study, causality is classified primarily in terms of morphology, then divided into the following sub-titles, explained and exemplified; subjective-objective according to the point of view, positive-negative-neutral in terms of positivity-negative, real-unreal-possible in the context of reality, internal-external in terms of effect, near-far in terms of distance, direct-indirect in terms of process, multiple-chain-optional in terms of multiplicity, before/after effect-cyclical in terms of direction, purely-causative-target-conditional-temporal-style cause in terms of reduction, open-implicit according to the openness, and the sequence of cause-effect-causality markers in terms of syntax is divided into sub-units, explained and exemplified. In the last part of the study, classification based on each criterion related to causality was handled one by one, causality markers of Old Anatolian Turkish were compared with Turkey Turkish, and the state of being used or discontinued today was emphasized. The markers of the type of causality used according to 12 criteria were explained by showing with tables (It has been shown and explained with tables that the type of causality according to 12 criteria with which markers have been used, and a general causality evaluation was made.
