The plural and collective nouns in Uighur and usage of these nouns

In this study the words that give the meaning of plurality and community in old Uyghur Turkish and their usage characteristics were studied AltunYaruk Hsüen-Tsang and Huastuanift Manihaist texts were used in there view In these Works the words that Express plurality and community in the meaning are emphasized In the study the concepts of multiplicity and community were addressed and varioussourcesrelated to these concepts were used to bring clarity to the subject Then in the sample of the mentioned Works the words expressing multiplicity and community were given in alphabetical order and these words were examined individually Herethelines of thewords in the text are given with their translation and interpretation then theety mologies of these words are addressed the words are focused on a semantic sapproach explanations are made. The aim of the study was to determine how of ten the words expressing plurality and community which are often seen in the works of old Uyghur Turkish are used, how they appear what tasks they are used in and what features they have their usage characteristics. In the introduction section of the study, the problem the purpose of therese archtheimportance and the specificities were determined In these condsection the oretical knowledge and evaluations about the concepts of multiplicity and community were given and the existing approaches and determinations related to these concepts were conveyed in the field of Turkology In the third section the method of there search is stated The main part of thet hesis is the examination part (third and fourth sections) of the words that give the meaning of multiplicity and community and their usage characteristics, the lines in the text are given with theirt ranslation and interpretation and then theety mologies of these words are addressed the words are examined with a semantic sapproachand explanations are made. In the conclusion part of the study all the characteristics of the words that Express multiplicity and community were shown and a number of findings were indicated.
